Senior Network Engineer

We are searching for a talented Senior Virtual Engineer to become part of Peraton’s Agile Cybersecurity Technical Solutions organization. This position will be based in Pensacola, Florida.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

The person filling this role would be responsible for:

• Designing and configuring virtual environments and implementation plans for hosting complex application workloads.  
• Provides critical operational insight current workload and upcoming requirements validate infrastructure can support mission.  
• Maintains STIG/harden/patch virtual environment as required.  
• Monitors virtual environment for issues and remediate problems.   

Required Qualifications:

• US Citizenship
• An Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree with twelve or more (12+) years of related experience, Master’s degree with ten or more (10+) years of related experience, PhD with nine or more (9+) years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Solutions Architect Associate 
• Linux certifications (Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator/SUSE Certified Systems Administrator) 
• Security+ 
• VMware Cloud on AWS 

• VMware migration
