Internet Communications Engineer

Provide System Engineering and Technical Systems (SETA) support with Internet Communications Engineering expertise to the sponsor across all elements of a multi-faceted technical policy and governance organization. 

• Create reports and briefings that easily and succinctly describe high complex programs and future plans
• Validate, document and manage stakeholder expectations in concert with the sponsor
• Assist sponsor managers with modifying or establishing processes to implement strategic plans
• Assist the sponsor in assessing, documenting and tracking program requirements and follow-on technical exchange meetings (TEMs)
• Compose and maintain correspondence documents such as operating procedures and internal memorandums
• Work independently and among a team with minimal supervision to address roadblocks and deliver results in a timely manner or provide the most relevant course of action

Required:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in network engineer, computer science/engineering or related technical field
• Minimum 11 years experience of relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 
• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required

Highly Desired:

• Existing sponsor experience
• Cable writing experience
