Configuration Management Analyst Senior Technical Specialist

We are searching for a talented Configuration Management Senior Technical Specialist to become part of Peraton’s Agile Cybersecurity Technical Solutions organization. This position will be based in Pensacola, Florida. 

This position is contingent upon contract award. 

The person filling this role will be responsible for:  

• Providing configuration management planning  
• Descibring provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits  
• Regulating the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.  
• Analyzing changes to product specifications to determine the effect on the end product and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change control.
• Authorizes the release of drawings, schedules and system configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups through the Request For Change process. 
• Operating configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and auditing. 
• Collecting and aggregating documentation, roles, and responsibilities, and identifies gaps and performs discovery to develop a model of the current state
• Has SAFe 5.1 SAFe Agilist Certification  

Required Qualifications:

• US Citizenship and an Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation for continued employment.
• Bachelor’s degree with twenty or more (20+) years of related experience and certifications, Master’s degree with fifteen or more (15+) years of related experience and certifications.
• SAFe 5.1 SAFe Agilist Certification  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with ServiceNow CMDB 
• Experience managing CI’s across hybrid environments 
• Certifications: Configuration Management II (CMII), Project Management Professional (PMP), or ITILv4 Foundation
• Maintaining configuration-change tracking and documentation control for concepts of operation, requirements identification, system definition, system design review, performance monitoring tools, and production software.
• Using or recommending automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures
