Responsibilities

We are searching for a talented Cyber Engineer-Subject Matter Expert to become part of Peraton’s Agile Cybersecurity Technical Solutions organization. This position will be based in Pensacola, Florida.
 
This position is contingent upon contract award.
 
The person filling this role will be responsible for:  
• Protection and security of the systems that store organizational data 
• In charge of the network and systems in a security capacity
• Implementing safeguards that prevent intrusions and breaches.
• Plans and execute security measures accordingly 
• Maintain technical documentation
• Consult team members on secure coding practices
• Develop a familiarity with new tools and best practices

 

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

 

  • US Citizenship and an Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
  • Selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation for continued employment.
  • Bachelor’s degree with sixteen-eighteen (16-18) years of related experience, Master’s degree with fourteen or more  (14+) years of related experience. PhD with ten plus (10+) years of experience.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification 

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience performing engineering and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of Endpoint Detect & Response (EDR) tools
  • Demonstrated experience in Cloud Service Providers for Federal clients, to include AWS GovCloud, Azure Gov, and Google for Government (Cloud)
  • Experience researching and developing Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs)
  • Experience developing, testing, and maintaining scripts to facilitate mission objectives
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience managing and leading team activities

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
