Cloud Engineer- Subject Matter Expert

We are searching for a talented Cloud Computing Principal Technical Specialist to become part of Peraton’s Agile Cybersecurity Technical Solutions organization. This position will be based in Pensacola, Florida.  This position is contingent upon contract award.  The person filling this role will be responsible for:                                                                               

• Builds end-to-end user service-oriented products, testing and integrating them with a mixture of distributed, COTs and custom applications 
• Designs, develops, builds and deploys highly scalable, fault-tolerant, elastic and secure cloud based and distributed services      
• Works with a variety of cloud-based architectures (public, private and hybrid) 
• Integrates external and internal cloud systems with non-cloud on-premise networks, to allow for secure communication between the systems.                     

Subject Matter Experts typically perform the following kinds of functions: Initiates, supervises, and/or develops and executes requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs or requirements; May supervise others.

Required qualifications:

• US Citizenship and a willingness to be processed and obtain a DoD TOP SECRET Clearance; with SCI ELIGIBILITY.
• Bachelor’s degree with twenty (20) years of related experience and related certifications, Master’s degree with fifteen (15) years of related experience and related certifications.

Desired qualifications:

• AWS Solutions Architect Associate
• Linux certifications (Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator/SUSE Certified Systems Administrator)
• Security+
• Network certifications (CCNA/JNCP)
