Manufacturing Engineer Senior Technical Specialist

Position Description:

The ASE PMO Senior Production/Reliability Engineer oversees and works at a high-visibility level on ASE production, reliability, risk management, and systems engineering activities.

Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub‑assemblies and final assemblies.
• Reviews OEM and supplier production plans and assesses program risk. 
• Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products.
• Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
• Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

Basic Qualifications:

• The candidate must have a strong understanding of senor to platform integration from an electrical perspective.
• Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset
• Be able to work from the customer facility on a regular bases unless customer approved to work outside the local area
• Have a Bachelor’s degree with 12-15 years experience, MS degree with 10-13 yrs experience or a PhD with 10 years of experience from an accredited college in engineering, the sciences or mathematics
• Have a minimum of 15 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above
• Secreat Clearance: Required 

Preferred Qualifications:

An additional plus is knowledge in PEO Aviation weapon systems and aircraft survivability equipment design, integration, testing and deployment considerations
