The Space and Intelligence Sector is seeking an Senior Level Systems Architect to work within our dynamic engineering team in either Springfield or Chantilly VA.  The Enterprise Engineering team supports the Government by providing Model-based systems engineering (MBSE),  Architecture Engineering, Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities from the conceptual design phase and continuing throughout development life cycle phases. You will be a key member supporting NGA’s Sensor Integrations (TIS) Office, providing strategic and solutions-level systems engineering support for the integration of new sensor capabilities into the Enterprise architecture. You will be working within a large team supporting leading edge technology.  As a member of our team, you will have the chance to work with customers that are both Government and industry leaders and technology innovators.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree and 2 years with a non-STEM degree.
  • 12+ years of experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), or Intelligence Community’s (IC) Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).
  • Experience with Cameo and MBSE.

Desired:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.
  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages.
  • Federated Enterprise Architect Certifications: Certified Enterprise Architect.
  • Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience.
  • Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience.
  • Experience developing system designs utilizing tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Tableau.
  • Experience developing capabilities and features,  user stories in an agile methodology and process.
  • Experience with MBSE methodology.
  • Experience with Cameo tool.

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
