Using a holistic approach, designs, develops, evaluates and modifies end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle. Generates quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics. Ensures requirements comply with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods. Translates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with other engineering disciplines to develop lower level detailed implementation requirements. Establishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overall product development. Designs interfaces and brings system elements together so they work as a whole. Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Customer liaison and support for business development activities and to understand and shape requirements. Participates in system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts. Translates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with multi-discipline engineering teams to develop lower level detailed requirements. Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation. Generates system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures. Candidate shall study, analyze, create, research, develop, deploy, and transition solutions in order to support the design of the Army multi-cloud data architecture and visionary end state of a hyper hybrid cloud. Assist the Army and ECMA to develop, define, and/or refine the continuously evolving short- and mid-term Army vision of a hyper hybrid cloud and data architecture. This architecture will support the CIO-G6’s vision of Army data services, encompassing models, policies, rules and cybersecurity standards to govern data collection, storage, integrated, and published for use in the Army. This architecture shall incorporate multiple Cloud Service Providers (e.g., AWS, Azure), AEDCs and all Impact Levels. The Contractor shall incorporate requirements provided by the ECMA and stakeholders to inform the architecture design. The Contractor shall work iteratively with ECMA and other stakeholders in order to develop, review and publish the architecture and reference documents being developed. Analyze the applications’ data schema, data transfer and database requirements to recommend CSP services and configurations to meet the Army’s mandate for improved data accessibility.
Ensure the successful implementation and day to day operation of database systems supporting critical Company or client systems.
