Responsibilities

We are hiring a Infrastructure Project Manager in Omaha, Nebraska. 

 

The candidate that fills this role will be expected to perform the following:

  • Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
  • Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization
  • Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
  • Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
  • Resolve conflicts and issues that occur
  • Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
  • Support the product owner and provide education where needed
  • Knowledge of vRealize products using vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager (vRSLCM)
  • Knowledge of vRealize Automation (vRA) solution and third-party integration
  • Create and update documentation to include work instructions, standard operating procedures, checklists, etc
  • Demonstrated skill with VMware tools

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience:

 

  • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7
  • 14 + years relevant work/ military experience accepted in lieu of BS
  • DoD TS/SCI clearance
  • Prior experience on a scrum team
  • Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
  • Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
  • Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
  • Experience with successful Agile techniques
  • Ability to work with and lead a team
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
  • Demonstrate and foster an ongoing desire to learn and work with new systems.
  • Demonstrated skill with VMware tools

Desired Education/Experience: 

  • Strong capability to build/troubleshoot blueprints/workflows/playbooks written with PowerShell, JavaScript, bash, YAML, and Python
  • Strong knowledge of modern system integration standards such as REST APIs, etc.
  • Familiar with RHEL, Windows Server, Firewall Concepts, IPAM, Directory Services, Identity Management, basic Networking
  • Define and create automation capabilities
  • Familiarity with risk management framework and public key infrastructure is a plus
  • Experience should include using iterative development, test driven development, automated testing, automated installation and deployment, managing infrastructure as code, and troubleshooting
  • techniques.
  • Familiar with tools such as GitLab, Packer, Puppet, Nexus, Ansible, Kubernetes, Istio, and Jenkins
  • Familiar with VMware products such as Tanzu, vRealize Automation (Cloud Assembly, Code Stream), Cloud Foundation
  • Experience in private & hybrid cloud/on-prem security & compute architecture implementations.
  • Static and dynamic applications security testing experience
  • Experience with design, implementation, and management of security management tools
  • Previous experience with DoD related cloud based migration or implementation, familiar with FEDRAMP

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
