SITEC - Procurement Lead

Peraton requires a Procurement Lead to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and  common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Plans, develops and manages purchasing of highly complex or unusual, technical, or high value materials, supplies, or services.
• Leads aspects of strategic sourcing, which may include, Statement of Work (SOW) and Request for Proposal (RFP) preparation, proposal evaluation, price/cost analysis, contract negotiation, vendor management, and contract administration.
• Compares prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
• Tracks the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.
• Selects, and recommends suppliers and negotiates price, quality, and service.
• Follows up on all awards until completion of order.
• Prepares purchase orders and sends copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
• Negotiates and settles with suppliers regarding damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, over-shipments, cancellations, and engineering change orders.
• Conducts supplier site visits as necessary.

• Some positions may require working a non-traditional work schedule to support the needs of the customer.

Required qualifications:

• BS Degree and 8-10 years of experience, or MS Degree and 6-8 years experience, or PhD and 3-5 years experience,

  OR 4 years of additional experience in lieu of BS

• Experienced with strategic sourcing, price and cost analysis, vendor management and contract management.
• Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards, principles and theories.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Clearance: TS/SCI
