Peraton requires Problem Managers to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.


The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and  common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.


Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Identifies, tracks, and interprets trend analyses to create resolutions for potential and ongoing problems.
• Creates and implements teams to target or resolve specific problems and facilitate restoration in coordination with the Government.
• Formats and disseminates reports to higher, peer, and subordinate NetOps Centers.
• Participates in meetings and conferences as directed.
• Tracks and identifies incident trends that could be potential problems or have been already identified as a problem.
• Proactively identifies, categorizes, and prioritizes problem diagnosis and resolution, problem and error control, problem closure and evaluation, major problem review and problem management reporting

• Some positions may require working a non-traditional work schedule to support the needs of the customer.

Required qualifications:

  • BS Degree and 10-12 years experience, or MS Degree and 8-10 years experience, or PhD and 5-7 years experience,

    OR 4 years of additional experience in lieu of BS

  • 2 years of experience with problem management or supporting skills and the ability to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of problem management processes in a dynamic service environment.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Certification(s): ITIL Foundations certification
  • Clearance: TS/SCI

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
