Responsibilities

This Configuration Manager (CM) supports the Computer Forensic Laboratory (CFL) within the Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3) and is responsible for coordinating with Procurement Management to order and renew all laboratory software/hardware, maintaining and managing laboratory software licensing, troubleshooting software/hardware issues, preparing equipment for trial support, software validation, coordinating with other DC3 Directorates, creating forensic workstation builds, and inventory and asset management.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience or Associates degree and 7 years’ experience and HS diploma/equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
  • Secret clearance required
  • Experience with desk-side IT support and Ability to communicate in a professional manner with senior executive government staff
  • Experience supporting variety of IT technologies (Laptops, Mobile devices, etc.)
  • Self-motivated and proactive – able to work independently with minimal supervision, identify opportunities and develop new ideas
  • Able to plan and prioritize team workload to ensure objectives are achieved on time
  • Experience working in a professional security environment balancing multiple tasks and prioritizing as required
  • Team Player – Ability to contribute to a much larger team ensuring Mission Critical Facilities issues and customer requests are met in a timely fashion
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with senior executive government staff

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A+ Certification
  • Sec+ Certification
  • Experience running and/or managing projects
  • Experience with forensic applications (i.e. EnCase, Cellebrite, Axiom, etc.)

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
