Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring an IT Integration Services Technical Writer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Fort Meade, Maryland.  As a Technical Writer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As an IT Integration Services Technical Writer on our team, you will support a customer with documenting governance processes and procedures for workflows associated with the Enterprise Information Technology Service Management Infrastructure. This is part of an effort to create a comprehensive technology and process stack for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the service management system. You will support integration across projects/programs and collaborate/coordinate among service owners and with other mission stakeholders.  You will:

  • Provide support to Modern Services Portal initiative. This web portal will provide all users with a central location to request EIS services, determine status of requests, and determine operational status of EIS services.
  • Document service workflows recommend changes to support standardization goals.
  • Document formal procedures for governance of service workflow processes.

Qualifications

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

  • Six (6) years' experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    • Four (4) years of additional Technical Writer experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Word.
  • Must have experience supporting clear, effective documentation of complex technologies and their processes, procedures, and governance.
  • Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

 

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

  • The ideal candidate would have ability to create and edit reusable Microsoft Office Document templates (.dot files).

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
