Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Senior .NET developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical lead focusing on developing / enhancing the current .NET applications both on-premises and cloud. This role also has experience running large, production scale cloud native platforms. Candidate requires high level of technical expertise, combined with excellent planning, coordination, communication skills and ability to work with business users and development teams. Applies technology solutioning experience to provide implementation guidance based on best practices to the organization and tenants throughout the life cycle of the project.

 

Day to Day Work Responsibilities may include:

 

  • Providing technical leadership to the application development team. Should be able to contribute independently on all the development efforts.
  • Will participate in business/technical/developer meetings, work with the customers, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Must have the ability to understand and debug through complex business requirements and provide quick turnaround solutions.
  • Conduct design and Code reviews, mentor development team members, and guide them through the DevOps process.
  • Work with the team and ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, extensibility etc.
  • Experience working in one or multiple IT areas, but with the versatility to apply concepts for Cloud Enabled/Cloud native solutions, SecDevOps, Integration/API/Microservices, User Experience
  • Establish architectural methodology, develop architectural principles and process for all deliverables.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the architecture is aligned with business requirements.
  • Ability to quickly review the code, identify the business flows end to end based on the code from and address/resolve issues.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring junior developers and providing implementation guidance as needed throughout the life cycle of the project.
  • Extensive experience taking disparate business problems and delivering the best technology solutions for large scale applications.
  • Experience in designing, coding, and implementing enterprise CI/CD architecture using open-source tools and best practices.
  • Strong proficiency and understanding containers, container orchestration, auto-scaling, advanced deployment models, CI/CD with GitOps, and pipeline customization.
  • Experience in decomposing application components and determining how to leverage various technologies found with modern cloud services.
  • Experience in applying Agile Methodologies e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean
  • Excellent verbal and written communication ability
  • Leadership skills to lead, advise and inspire the technical team.

 

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 12-15 years’ experience or high school diploma/equivalent and 16 relevant years’ experience.
  • U.S. Citizen or Green card holder required
  • Extensive experience working as an architect/technical lead/developer in designing, developing, and maintaining large scale applications, including SaaS and cloud-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of .NET, .NET core frameworks, MVC architecture, ORM, Entity relationships, frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React.JS, Angular, JQuery etc. and Microsoft Azure SQL/SQL Server
  • Expertise in service-oriented architecture, web services, and Application Programming Interfaces
  • Strong experience in writing automated test scripts for Unit and Integration testing and utilizing them as part of a DevOps pipeline.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
