Systems Administrator for Enterprise Infrastructure Support

Peraton is hiring a Senior Systems Administrator to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a Systems Administrator on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Senior Systems Administrator on our team, you will provide system administration solutions to meet required capabilities and you will create bills of materials, network designs and diagrams, and other documentation for new and updated installations.  You will also work with network, storage, and server personnel to define new or modified solutions to complex problems; respond to requests for new systems to meet capacity and user requirements; and determine required power, space, cooling, and funding to meet these goals.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.   
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required.    
• Ability to break down complex problem space, formulate technical strategies, build action plans, and track progress against established baselines to resolve technical challenges and meet customer expectations.
• Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems, to include user accounts and workstations.
• Provide support for the dispatch system and remain involved in the resolution process.
• Configure and manage LINUX, UNIX, and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating systems software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configuration.

• Ability to work independently and in groups to complete tasks bounded by constraints.
