Responsibilities

Working as part of a larger operations team, you with provide real-time weather forecasting to the customer and operations team on current weather data through the use of TAFs, METARs, Sigmets & Airmets, weather outlooks, climatological data, verbal weather briefings, and tropical weather forecasts. Meteorologist will have the opportunity to deploy overseas in support of operations. Candidates selected must have an active TS/SCI, with a Full Scope Polygraph.

Qualifications

BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7

Desire 6 years of relevant experience in Meteorology or a related scientific field, or completion of Air Force AFSC 1W0X1 or comparable schools.

OR 4 years of additional experience in lieu of BS

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of world geography. Strong technical knowledge to be able to use multiple software applications to perform the job. Position requires and active TS/SCI, Full Scope Polygraph.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
