Peraton’s National Programs Business Intelligence Systems & Applications Operating Unit has a need for an experienced Technical Trainer to support its SITE III DO contract charged with the orchestration, sustainment, and evolution of a portfolio of mission critical applications and services supporting a major Directorate within the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC). The SITE III DO contract is designed to establish and ensure a multi-discipline approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across the National apparatus of Defense Intelligence, Combatant Commands, supporting Partner Nations and other Federal Agencies to ensure timely and accurate Human Intelligence (HUMINT) collection, correlation and dissemination.  Our support team applies best practices in architecture design, data science, cloud services, DevSecOps and platform integration to develop, sustain and continually evolve the global U.S. human intelligence apparatus and supporting partners.

 

What you'll do:

The Technical Trainer will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

  • Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel.
  • Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.
  • Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
  • Collaborates with sales, marketing, and engineering to identify program needs, obtain technical data and schedules programs.
  • Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
  • Confers with management, employees and clients to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.
  • May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in related field of study with 8 or more years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • TS/SCI with ability to pass a polygraph
  • Development of computer-based training, classroom training or visual training (videos or usage capture).
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work with developers, end users and functional customer.
  • Fulltime work in a SCIF is required, but hours are flexible.
  • Some travel.

  • Subject matter expertise of CI/HUMINT lifecycle.
  • Active TS/SCI w/Poly

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
