System Administrator 3

This role supports a suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians.  The products facilitates the capture of information and approvals that allow for the movement of data through the customer mission space in a compliant manner.  These products are critical to the standardize and simplify data movement as well as data reuse and integration with downstream tools. This role is performed out of the Peraton contractor facility and offers flexible hours and telework opportunities are actively being pursued. The System Administrator, Level 3, will perform administering user accounts, performing server subsystem configuration, network management, installation of software, performing backups, configuration management, and general system maintenance.

The System Administrator, Level 3, shall have at least the following experience:

• Fifteen (15) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware
• Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph clearance required

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with the following:
  • Strong RedHat / Centos Linux
  • Working with servers that support a software development team using Apache Tomcat, WildFly, Apache NiFi
  • Ansible
  • IAVA / security patching
