Software Engineer III

Peraton is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer, Senior (III). The candidate will be an independent self-starter who can work in a collaborative team environment. The candiddate will be familiar with Agile Development environment and be able to use the Atlassian Jira and other software within that suite.

Basic Qualifications:

• Active TS SCI security clearance with current polygraph required 
• Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and
  complexity is required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited
  college or university is required
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar
  software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree 
• Experience developing software using Python
• Experience with graph analytics
• Experience using Mongo
• Experience in Data Mining
• Experiencein Data science and Ontology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using containers (e.g. Docker, Podman)
• Experience using Kubernetes
• Experience using AWS

NOTE: A degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar degree will be considered as a technical field.
