Requirements Analyst (Satellite Systems)

Ready to make an impact? Peraton has an exciting opportunity for a cleared Requirements Analyst to manage system requirements for an RF/SATCOM system. The Analyst will work as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, developing a next generation satellite terminal on a mission critical Space and Intelligence Program.

Primary job duties include:

• Requirement management using Visure, Jira and RMsis and business process review
• Evaluate business processes, manage requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions
• Lead ongoing reviews of business processes for change management, change proposals and develop optimization strategies
• Conduct meetings and present to share ideas and findings
• Perform requirements analysis and manage requirements from proposal through verification
• Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
• Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports
• Work closely with clients, engineers and managerial staff
• Provide leadership, training, coaching and guidance to junior staff
• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree with five to seven years of experience performing systems analysis activities on enterprise applications
• A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph

• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Visio and Power-Point

• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
