SharePoint Developer

We are seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer to join our team on-site in Washington, DC to provide direct government customer support in the following areas:

• With minimum guidance provides top-level technical expertise, including performing in-depth and complex software systems programming and analysis. 
• Develops High level SharePoint and standalone software applications using custom coding in front end and back end programming languages. 
• Identifies, assesses, and presents options for meeting the functional and technical requirements for software updates or upgrades. 
• Formulates and defines specifications for applications or modifies and maintains existing applications using engineering releases. 
• Creates detailed design specifications for use by software development staff members.  Interacts with project management to plan project schedules and technical direction. 
• Develops software design documents and technology white papers. 
• Instrumental in selection of development tools. 
• Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other task personnel.
• Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new coding applications. 
• Expert knowledge of SharePoint applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. 
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or Mathematics with 10+ years of experience or Masters with 8+ years. Will consider additional experience in lieu of degree requirement. 
• Security+ certification required or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.
• JavaScript, Jquery, Bootstrap, REST API (application programming interface), SharePoint list forms customization, SharePoint Design Workflows, .NET, and/or C#. 
• Position requires at least (10) years of experience in the above-cited duties. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience writing custom code in addition to use of SharePoint workflows.
• SharePoint 2019 / On-Prem Service Applications.
