Electronics Technician

What You'll Get to Do:

As a member of the US Army C5ISR team, you will support a test laboratory providing technology development, evaluation and qualification testing in state-of-the-art facilities. 

You will participate in buildup and operation of Hardware-in-the-Loop test facilities by providing hands on assembly and installation of wiring, electrical and electronics equipment in the lab.  You will use tools and test equipment to integrate laboratory hardware in support of an overall test program. 

What You Must Have:

• 2-4 years experience with BS, 0-2 with MS, 8-10 with High School Diploma
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to complete multiple projects quickly and efficiently with minimum supervision
• Working knowledge of electronics lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.
• Experience in assembling, testing and debugging, and repair of electronic printed circuit boards
• Experience in assembling electronic and mechanical enclosures
• Experience with constructing cable assemblies including MIL-SPEC, RF Coax, network, etc.
• Documentation skills and experience on common Office365 applications, Word and Excel
• Ability to comprehend and work from circuit schematics, mechanical schematics, hand sketches, technical drawings, etc.
• Familiarity with generating buy lists and purchasing electronic and mechanical parts from vendors
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors
• Travel less than 5%

Would Be Nice if You Have:

• Experience performing PC Board Layout
• Experience withs MATLAB by Mathworks
• Ability to perform fiber optic termination and repair
• Experience with optical assemblies including lenses, mirrors, gratings, etc.
