Testing Systems Engineering

Peraton is hiring a Testing Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. As a Testing Systems Engineer on our team you will provide Systems Engineering Support to Program Milestones and design reviews, specifically serving as the IOC/FOC Test Lead for major increments of the Program. You will also assist the government in Quarterly Release Planning and prioritization of new mission capabilities coming to production; and oversee sprint planning and coordination of deployments, reporting status and potential risk assessments to the Government POC. You will be required to work with Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads on the Program’s presentation UI issues and fixes.  Activities you will engage in include SE/IOT&E Documentation; coordination with Government independent test & evaluation teams (NOTA); coordination with IPT Leads and SEIT team on DT/OA capabilities; scheduling, execution, and project management of test events; and prioritization /closeout of high priority defects. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours per year.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 20 years of systems engineering experience. A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
• Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Project Management experience
• Experience in automated and manual testing.
• This position requires strong technical and communication skills. Successful candidates will be great communicators, good listeners, comfortable with change and uncertainty, big-picture oriented, and technically proficient.
• Expertise in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
