RF Software Lead

Peraton Labs is looking for an experienced C++ software developer with strong programming skills to conceive, build and enhance complex software systems. The successful candidate will have a track record of effectively working in teams, proactively identifying issues, independently solving problems, and creating novel solutions. The candidate will have strong communication skills that enable collaboration on large development projects. Experience with software development for RF systems is required.

Main responsibilities include:

• Working with a team of developers
• Independently solving problems in design and implementation of complex systems
• Documentation of software architectures and test results
• Designing and implementing new features in C++
• Demonstrating capabilities to and interfacing with customers

Work Location: Red Bank, NJ  OR Basking Ridge, NJ OR Silver Spring, MD OR Bedford, NH

BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7

Qualifications

• Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship and a Secret clearance.
• 10+ years of experience in software development
• BS/BA, MS/MA, Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related relevant field
• Experience with C++ 14 and language features including, multithreading, templates, lambda expressions, smart pointers, move semantics
• Experience with software development for RF systems
