Senior Software Test Engineer

Uses their expertise to design develop,  test, and debug software. Has ability to work collaboratively in an engineering lab environment with a small, multidisciplinary team of hardware and software engineers. Can assume responsibility for system testing of solutions. Assists in the verification of completed design elements. Directs team planning for agile sprints by identifying new test cases and dependencies that are aligned with product requirements and planning   the execution of these test cases. Performs system engineering assessments/analysis of Customer requirements and CONOPS. Maintains traceability between requirements and test cases.

BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, e.g., Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with at least 10 years of testing experience. May consider experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum active Top Secret security clearance required. 
• Ability to Plan manual, automated, and regression testing of System requirements
• Has experience creating test cases, test procedures, identifying test inputs and identifying test conditions
• Can update test plans as needed for CD/CI environment as Program development progresses
• Ability to integrate operating systems, open source and third party software.
• Experience  tracking progress and reporting of test case features, test cases, and bug ticketing in JIRA 
• Experience as SCRUM master

Desired Qualifications:

• Programming languages: C/C++, Java, C#, Linux.
• Programming languages: Python, Ansible
• Experience maintaining documentation in Confluence
