Responsibilities

We are looking to add an experienced Security Architect to the team! Ensures that the stakeholder security requirements necessary to protect the organization’s mission and business processes are adequately addressed in all aspects of enterprise architecture including reference models, segment and solution architectures, and the resulting systems supporting those missions and business processes.

 

What you will do:

  • Lead the security architecture design, acquisition, integration, and sustainment of the full scope security suite for on-prem & cloud environments.
  • Lead the implementation of the following capabilities: EDR, NDR, NSM, AV, IDS, IPS, FW, IAM, DLP, DFIR, RE/MA, SOAR, SIEM, CMS, CTI, CTH, and others.
  • Lead the engineering of critical security logs, aggregation, broker, and storage - from raw data to visualization for the SOC.
  • Optimize data flow, augment, and enrich data sources using customized DevOps and Data Science techniques (e.g., machine learning).
  • Lead a team of engineers to increase attacker probability of detection by implementing threat TTPs and behavioral analytics.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience as a security architect/engineer. Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree
  • Experience in development of threat TTP correlation for continuous monitoring
  • Experience in identification of critical data sources
  • Experience in custom rule/alert management for structured & unstructured data
  • Experience in security objects, data models, and pattern matching
  • Experience in cloud security monitoring and threat landscape
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
