Peraton is looking for a SharePoint Online Content Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The SharePoint Online Content Manager will have expertise in migrating SharePoint on premise Farms to Microsoft SharePoint Online. Applies advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Works without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members.

 

What you will do:

  • Create migration plans for a multi-farm environment and document the process
  • Work with various Site Collection Owners and stake holders to accredit and deploy migration tools and implement migration plans.
  • Provide guidance and work directly with content owners on content management,
  • Utilize Microsoft Power Platform and other SharePoint functionality to promote user adoption of the solution to meet mission requirements.  
  • Orchestrate the development of a system of interest (encompassing hardware and/or software) through its entire life cycle, from requirements determination through operations and system retirement, with an emphasis on domain expert involvement, risk/opportunity management, and tailoring of processes to meet the needs of the specific project.
  • Develops innovative solutions to complex problems.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

 

What you'll need:

  • BS/BA with 8-10 years, Master's degree with 6-8 years, PhD with 3-5 years or HS with 12-14 years of experience in IT/CS/Engineering
  • 4+ yrs of experience in global or widely dispersed systems and networking
  • 5+ yrs of experience administrating and designing SharePoint Farms
  • 2+ yrs of experience directly with Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Platform
  • Extensive experience with SharePoint migration tools and migrations ie; ShareGate, Quest Metalogix and/or AvePoint
  • Comprehensive understanding of M365 and Microsoft Power Platform
  • Strong written and presentation skills to support engineering documentation, solution drawings in Visio and leadership briefs
  • Platform operational experience cert/training (M365 Fundamentals and Azure Fundamental certifications to enable receipt of cloud privileged admin account)
  • Ability to occasionally travel internationally and support an OCONUS network.
  • Previous experience completing successful migrations to SharePoint Online for large enterprise
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an Active/Current DoD Secret Clearance

Certification Required:

  • IA certification (Sec+/CASP/CISSP or equivalent)

 Qualifications Desired:

  • SharePoint related development tools
  • PowerShell and scripting
  • Engineering, supporting, or operating in Navy Enterprise Networks
  • File structures and data tagging
  • Data categorization and identification

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
