System Engineer 2.5

Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer who can perform as a Trainer/Subject Matter expert with the NiFi application. The Engineer will perform NiFi virtual and/or classroom training, tool demonstrations, work with the help desk to answer user questions in use of the application, create "how-to guides", perform both introductory and advanced training. A successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to learn new technologies and perform knowledge sharing in many forms with the workforce.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to create How-to guides in MS Word, PowerPoint, Confluence, etc.
• Ability to teach new users by performing hands-on training with the use of the NiFi application
• Ability to create simple NiFi dataflows using he NiFi application
• Ability to demonstrate basic and advanced functionality of the application
• Ability to setup and configure virtual systems prior to classroom/virtual training sessions
• Experience with NiFi is desired, however, someone with experience as an SME with other complex software applications will be considered
• Seventeen (17) year’s experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
