Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Project Manager (Tech) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals to support the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) Account.

 

Must be a U.S. Citizen, holding an active/current DoD Secret clearance

This is a remote opportunity however individual must be based in the U.S.

 

  • Responsible for oversight of day-to-day operations of the WWHWSW Enterprise support teams to support OCONUS & CONUS based DMDC operations; including maintaining project plans and schedules, monitoring workload, and communicating with the client as required.
  • Provides liaison support to DMDC programs such as DBIDS/RAPIDS/JAMMS/NTS, serves as SME on DMDC support policies, and provides assistance to clients and DMDC senior leaders on DMDC Support procedures and policy; escalates site issues to the appropriate DMDC POC; participates in CONUS/OCONUS weekyly/biweekly calls.
  • Oversees the managment of operations for software/hardware solutions; duties may include supporting sites around the globe maintaining in order to not impact operations; processes emergency OPS activiviets to restore software and/or hardware and the associated applications.
  • Ensures team members are in compliance with DMDC required trainings and certifications programs and montitors team members compliance readiness; provides cross-training to team.
  • As required for travel, ensures the teams adhere to the Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS), Individual Antiterrorism Plan/travel tracker (IATP/TT).
  • Provided NEO training for customers around the globe and participates in Personnel Accountability and Evacuation Operations (PA-EO) meetings as required; provides NTS training to clients.
  • Works with various senior leaders around the world on emerging projects and staffs requirements at a level appropriate to meet designated time lines. 
  • Oversees the team responsible for the day-today support of DMDC system builds in support of maintenance replacements and tech refresh around the globe.  Ensures the teams maintain their systems and apply patches as required before shipment.

Qualifications

  • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7
  • Oversight of software, applications, and hardware support; communications design and troubleshooting;
  • Drive problem resolution between DMDC Applications and other DoD systems and local networks;
  • Provides training and guidance to the Maintenance Helpdesk
  • Coolaboration with leaders to ensure proper oversight of the WWHWSW warehouse and ensures property accountablity is maintained for all assets in transit through final desitnation
  • Ensures updates to the property accountability system and enterprise helpdesk systems are updated and accurate.
  • Experience with standard project management practices as outlined by the Project Management Institute's PMBOK.
  • Prepares metrics to support the all DMDC requirements set forth in both weekly/month progress reviews
  • Support CONUS site surveys and install reports
  • Provides meeting agenda's prior to meeting kickoff's and meeting minutes within 3 business days of completion

Salary Range

Salary Minimum: $72,500
Salary Mid: $145,000
Salary Maximum: $181,300

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
