Cloud Network Engineer

Peraton is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to deliver managed services and production solutions to the customer.  The candidate will work as part of a team of different disciplined engineers; duties of this position include but are not limited to design and configuration of cloud and virtual networks, firewalls, and network automation. This position is located in Annapolis Junction, MD.

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Inofrmation Systems, or related discipline and 12 years of relevant experience is required
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required
• Demonstrated use of cloud platforms (i.e. AWS) and software-defined networking (i.e. VMWare)
• Proven experience with design, plan and implementation of specific cloud solutions
• Experience troubleshooting issues as they arise
• Demonstrated experience implementing effective security solutions
• Proven expertise with Security Firewalls
• Working knowledge of load balancers, remote access
