Cloud Software Engineer

Peraton is seeking a cloud software engineer to support in the planning and implementation of cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include but are not limited to build, release, and management of configurations, continuous integration and deployment methodology, and troubleshooting. This position is located in Annapolis Junction, MD.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 7 years of experience is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required
• Working experience with programming languages (Python)
• Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and designing and building web environments
• Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining cloud applications
• Demonstrated understanding of Linux
• Experience using DevOps tools in a cloud environment (i.e. Jenkins, Maven, Docker, etc)
