Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Linux and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
• Support the development team in streamlining infrastructure and networking tasks.
• Make and implement suggestions to help the dev and operations team solve problems.
• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, vulnerability patching, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices.
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to Contractor PM, product team and customers as needed.

Qualifications

Skills Required:
• Strong Linux administration skills with daily tasks to include managing multiple custom PXE images, DHCP, rsyslog, Apache and Nginx web servers, YUM , user management, TLS/SSL and PKI authentication, NFS, iSCSI, KVM Virtualization
• Experience managing servers with Ansible, writing BASH, shell or python scripts
• Maintaining VMware virtual environment, administering SAN storage and deploying/maintaining virtual machines in the environment
• Experience deploying and maintaining STE/STN requirement
• Experience configuring and maintaining firewalls with iptables or firewalld
• Ten (10) years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.


Preferred, but not required:
• Experience with containerized applications, specifically using Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience with DevOps tools (Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Mattermost or similar tools)

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
