Peraton seeks an experienced System Administrator Manager to lead the NCTAMS PAC System Administrator team. The System Administrator team supports the administration, security, and maintenance of the Information Systems (IS) located at three sites in Hawaii (Wahiawa, Lualualei, Kaneohe Bay) and Geraldton, Australia. The System Administrator Manager ensures a balanced workload of the System Administration team at all locations. The System Administration team maintains and secures the IS 24 hours daily, 7 days a week.


This role requires relevant experience in managing a team of system administrators responsible for a server farm, local area network, and a large-scale network, which includes both local and remote equipment administration responsibilities.


Major Job Activities:

  • The System Administrator Manager is the central point of contract for balancing the workload of all System Administrators supporting NCTAMS PAC.
  • Ensures all Information Systems are supported and maintained with sufficient System Administrators providing 24 hour per day, 7 days per week coverage.

Working Environment:

Flexible 8x5 (Monday-Friday) (24x7 on-call) work schedule 24-hour X 7 support.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Relevant experience of 5 years or more
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Cyber Security Work Force Code 45 position which requires compliance with Cyber Security Work Force Requirements and DoD Directive 8140.01 Cyberspace Workforce Management, DoD Directive 8570.01-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program and SECNAV M-5239.2 Cyberspace Information Technology and Cybersecurity Workforce Management and Qualification Manual.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computers, computer security, or management

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
