Peraton is seeking a Contracts Operations Product Manager to be responsible for the following;
Understands the Peraton Contracts organizational goals and objectives, and in coordination with the VP of Contract Operations provides leadership and management to subordinate teams to create an automation strategy, roadmap, and budget for technology projects to enable achievement of strategic goals. Oversees end-to-end projects and respective teams to ensure the successful launch, operations, and maintenance of automated tool sets to include but not limited to CLM systems, SharePoint tools, file shares and associated business intelligence dashboards, reporting & metrics (Systems & Tools collectively).
Establishes software development processes and metrics that measure and improve team performance. Establishes a Process Framework for all development enhancements, projects, and releases. Participates and works with Software Architects and Developers in the analysis and development of business requirements. Further, collaborates cross-functionally to realize enhancements and process improvements across Peraton Contracts’ Systems & Tools.
Serves as the primary Peraton lead and interface with automation suppliers and internal IT stakeholders and ensures proper functional, technical, and required compliance parameters are documented in pursuit of scoping and developing Requirements Traceability Matrices in support of strategic goals.
Serves as Contracts’ representative on all application development projects, working with department heads to ensure seamless transition of new and existing clients in all aspects of Contracts Operations. Works with new business implementation leads to identify workflows, protocols, information gathering for new client implementations. Additionally, develops project plans to manage the end-to-end project activities and execution approach. Establishes and manages project timelines, goals, and objectives. Further, collaborates with Peraton Procurement to effectuate and maintain contractual agreements with suppliers to ensure that requirements are successfully delivered, and service levels are met.
Serves as the primary Peraton day-to-day interface with Peraton Technical Operations, Application Development & Business Intelligence teams, Procurement, Finance, Compliance, and other cross-functional organizations that provides applications & reporting operations management support. Such support is to include compliance with cybersecurity for technology applications and other enterprise, regulatory reporting compliance requirements. Responsible for scoping, planning, executing, and monitoring the projects to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and following appropriate Peraton IT protocols. Further, provides input to procurement stakeholders to ensure contractual agreements with suppliers meet the needs of the Contracts organization.
Ensures day-to-day issues that arise from execution of automated tools are resolved, root cause identified, and where applicable, permanent fixes are implemented. Engages suppliers as it pertains to service delivery levels as needed and escalates as required. Ensures systems and tools remain operational and have adequate controls and for effective data hygiene to produce cyclical internal and inter-departmental reporting. Provides a regular performance-based ‘report card’ of the effectiveness of contract management automation and advocates for continuous improvements.
