Peraton is seeking a Disaster Recovery/Contingency Service Management Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing total level Disaster Recovery Plan, Continuity of Operations (COOP) Plan, and contingency plans for system software, hardware, and applications for the client organization.

  • Develops and implements procedures to ensure business continues to function through disruptive incidents within an organization.
  • Develops and maintains various security controls to protect technology assets from internal or inadvertent modification, disclosure or destruction.
  • Provides reports regarding effectiveness of data security and makes recommendations for the adoption of new procedures.
  • Oversee and facilitate the preparation of an organization-wide business resumption and disaster recovery plan including training and tabletop exercises.
  • Responsible for ensuring the business resumption plan adequately addresses the organization’s requirements and established timeframes. 
  • May be assigned responsibility for the management of the business continuity, contingency and disaster recovery function, including associated staff.
  • Available to travel to client physical location on demand. 


Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree and 10-12 years' experience or MS degree and 8-10 years' experience or high school diploma/equivalent and minimum 14 years' experience
  • Must have an understanding of technical principles, theories and concepts related to Disaster Recovery

  • Must have knowledge of National Incident Response Unit (NIRU) requirements and the latest release of Federal Continuity Directives
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to accomplish team objectives
  • U.S. Citizenship required; Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance with DHS EOD

Salary Range

Salary Minimum: $72,500
Salary Mid: $145,000
Salary Maximum: $181,300

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.
