Peraton is seeking a Document Control Specialist to work as part of our corporate contracts team. The Specialist will be expected to do the following: 

  • Implements document management solutions with a primary focus on document control and records management of a contractual nature.
  • Administers document management applications.
  • Receives, tracks, and monitors documents using the Contract Management Lifecyle (CLM) tool. 
  • Enters data and produces reports using other standard office automation or department-specific computer applications.
  • Initiates and replies to routine correspondence related to area of responsibility.
  • Keeps up to date on Corporate technologies, techniques and services relevant to area of responsibility.
  • Ensures contractual documents are current, accurate, and complete in the CLM tool. 
  • Ensure timely approvals and distribution of contractual documents.
  • Expedites review and signature approval.
  • Verifies retention requirements for long-term storage or disposal of appropriate documents at time of closeout. 


  • Must have 5-7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors Degree or 3-5 years of experience with a Masters. Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. 
  • Business acumen with ability to think critically and develop creative and practical solutions.
  • Strong writing and time management skills.

  • Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to employees and management at all levels.
  • Attention to detail and organization.

Salary Range

Salary Minimum: $57,500
Salary Mid: $115,000
Salary Maximum: $143,800

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.
