Hardware Engineer, Senior (III)

Support Peraton's Cyber Mission as a Hardware Engineer, Senior (III) in Annapolis Junction, MD. Possess a background of AutoCAD and enforced compliance of Mil Spec/Std and Network Engineers to support activities involving latest technology in support of cloud operational duties including performing end-to-end network systems engineering, working with vendors and identifying new requirements to achieve mission needs. Perform higher level network design with Cisco and create Power Space and Cooling (PSC), Build of Material (BOM), Baseline Exception Requirements (BER) and other documents required to procure equipment. Create and design complex network core cabling integration and infrastructure cabling between racks. Provide new configurations and changes to drafter and assure all cabling drawing packages are 100% accurate. Integrate Cisco, HP, Dell, IBM, and many other vendors of equipment. Perform quality assurance on all systems procurement to make sure they pass build standards. 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

• TS SCI clearance with polygraph required
• Bachelors in Computer Science, or a relevant technical field
• 20 years of relevant experience; or 25 without the degree
• Experience with creating drawing package using ACAD and Visio
• Experience with creating and maintaining Level II drawings 
• Confirmed drawing package accuracy and provided drawing packages to appropriate repositories 
• Ability to research new technologies and get technical specifications for new systems 
• Experience with custom fabrication component drawings for vendor bid submittals
• Experience with creating automation process for tracking components associated with Floor Plans, Rack Elevations & Cable databases
• Ability to provide technical planning, system integration, verification, cost and risk  
• Ability to review quotes from vendors and resellers 
• Experience with creating rack elevations and build documents for vendors 
• Ability to review drawing packages and provide redlines to team members 
• Ability to build cable run lists documents for deployment team usage 
• Ability to create and provide Cable BOM’s for manufactures and vendors, review quotes for accuracy

Salary Minimum: $57,500
Salary Mid: $115,000
Salary Maximum: $143,800
