Cyber Software Engineer Senior Technical Specialist

Responsibilities include:

• Implement, test and operate advanced software security techniques in compliance with technical reference architecture
• Perform on-going security testing and code review to improve software security
• Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise
• Provide engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities
• Contribute to all levels of the architecture
• Maintain technical documentation
• Consult team members on secure coding practices
• Develop a familiarity with new tools and best practices

Basic Qualifications:

• BS 12-15, MS 10-13. Phd 10+
• Knowledge of programming philosophy, scripting (Python, Java) and object-oriented languages (C/C++)
• Knowledge of Agile Development; Issue/Problem resolution
• Ability to evaluate operational and technical alternatives, problem resolution
• Knowledge of JIRA, IDEs
• Experience with source repositories: BitBucket, GitHub and other Atlassian Tools
• Ability to produce clean code utilizing and contributing to peer reviews, unit testing sandbox testing and automation testing
• Experience with process monitoring, analysis and implementation
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
