Cyber Systems Administrator I

• Peraton is seeking an entry level Systems Administrator to provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems; manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems; provide support to IT systems including: day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client problems.
• Ideal candidate will provide problem identification, diagnosis and resolutions of problems; provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process.
• Must be able to support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• This position is located in Annapolis Junction, MD.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required (Five (5) years of SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree)
• No demonstrated experience is required (with Bachelor’s degree)
• Active IAT Level II Certification (i.e. Security +)
• Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
• Able to provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Ability to learn and/or basic familiarity with working in a ticketing system
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level 2 is required.

Preferred Quals:

• Linux experience a plus
